A Quick Note on Self Care

What a week it has been! With so much goin on, it's important to remember self care. Even when you "don't have time" for yourself, there are many small things you can do to care for your personal and emotional wellbeing.

*Take the first 5 minutes after waking in the morning to reflect and/ or meditate before getting on your phone or going about your day.

*Enjoy your lunch in a natural area, such as a park, a bench under a tree, or even a patch of grass.

*Take an opportunity during the day to keep your phone put away, and instead look around the world and observe the beauty around you.

*Keep a sticky note in your car, office, bedroom or mirror with a statement that empowers you or helps you to remember your dreams and goals.

*Call a friend or connect with a family member- or even send a quick text if you don't have time for a call. Our culture is surprisingly lonely in the midst of all this technology.

*Enoy a cup of tea and chat with your friendly local herbalist. (This one is just for fun! )
